Ahhh . . . the serenity :-)

After much grunting and heaving (and maybe a little swearing) we finally moved into our new place last Tuesday.

Many thanks must go to Adam & Brett for helping us with the move.

So yes, we are now living on a 4 acre bushland property in Woodend (pop approx 3800) which is in North Central Victoria near Mt Macedon.

Why did we move here?

We decided some time ago that we wanted to raise our kids in an environment that was relaxed and away from the rat-race that had become part of our lives.

We wanted a place where we could raise some chooks, maybe a sheep or goat and even an alpaca or two and have space for a vegetable garden that would support our family.

So after a little searching, this property came up and we jumped at the chance to live here.

And why not when this is the view from our bedroom window . . .

. . . and each morning we wake to a beautiful sunrise over the valley and the magnificent sound of kookaburras and magpies.

Then of course there is the resident bird life . . .

. . . and of course outside of our window there are the native animals that stroll or hop through the property . . .

Ahhh, now to pour a glass of wine and enjoy this serenity.

Cheers
