Was that the weekend?

One of the things I have quickly adapted to is losing track of the days. I was truely surprised when I realised today was Sunday!!!

2 weeks already

It suddenly dawned on me that it has been 2 weeks already since I finished work!! Where has that time gone?

Jessica's 18th Birthday

As I said previously, we went to Yorketown on the weekend for my daughter's 18th birthday.  (Yes I know it is hard to believe that I am old enough to have an 18 year old!!!!!)

The road trip - Part 2

It's been a busy weekend for us. After our long drive on Friday it was time to rest and catchup with a couple of Bradley's aunts before driving another 220 kms to Yorketown, on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, on Saturday.

The Roadtrip

1 car, 9 hours, 2 adults, 1 toddler, 725 kms. Sounds like a recipe for disaster!!!

OK, so what happened today?

Poor Bradley had an early morning dentist appointment this morning which meant leaving home at 6:30am to catch the train into the city again.

Our 1st adventure

Today we had our first big adventure. I had to go to see my doctor over at Mt Waverley and Bradley and I decided to go there on the train.

A new start

The saying "Today is the first day of the rest of your life" is never truer for me than today.
